(ป. สรท, สารท; ส. ศารท). ๒ [สาด, สาระทะรึดู] น. ฤดูใบไม้ร่วง, ในประเทศเขตอบอุ่นทาง ซีกโลกเหนือ ซึ่งแบ่งฤดูกาลออกเป็น ๔ ฤดู คือ ฤดูหนาว (เหมันตฤดู) ฤดูใบไม้ผลิ (วสันตฤดู) ฤดูร้อน (คิมหันตฤดู) และฤดูใบไม้ร่วง (สารทฤดู) นั้น ฤดูใบไม้ร่วงเริ่มต้นในเดือน กันยายนถึงเดือนพฤศจิกายน.
